On the 17th and 18th of October 2020 we open our doors to YOU!
We created a program with the intention of sharing our passion for the wisdom of the body and its connection with nature. There will be sample classes to try out what you can already experience at Quinta Ten Chi, and also some new offerings.
The event welcome families, as we know that our space offer a lot of adventures for the little ones, also on Sunday after lunch there will be a fun and eco-playful puppet show with talented Pamela Bianchetti!
You are welcome to also have lunch(5 euros) and dinner (8 euros) with us and lounge on the grass or on our tatami chill out. And on Sunday lunch will be also made sweeter by the tunes of Jaime & Frederico!
Given the Covid-19 restrictions we ask kindly to enrol online, so that we can make sure we are within the maximum allowed numbers. You can book your experience with Quinta Ten Chi filling in this form.


Here follows a brief description of the practices offered!
Saturday:

Social Presencing Theater morning practice is part of life at Quinta Ten Chi. It helps us tunes in with the body in stillness, movement and within the social context. It is inspired by the original meaning of theater = making things visible. Our bodies make visible the invisible that always surrounds us.
Rita Venturini is a SPT advanced practitioner, and one of the creators of the dojo form. She previously lived as a scientist and brings her curiosity to life in the daily exploration of the wisdom of the body.

Kundalini yoga derives from kundalini, defined in Vedantic culture as energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine until it is activated (as by the practice of yoga) and channeled upward through the chakras in the process of spiritual perfection.
Taran Shabd Kaur brings lightness and depth in her classes, allowing each person to find their pace and harmony within the practice.

About Dwelling a Body is focused on the dimension of attention. Attention understood as a necessary quality, to come back to us, to the body . Attentions that opens a research space devoted to somatic practices, the recognition of anatomical components, geometries and connections between them.
Francesca Bertozzi is an international dancer, actress, performer and teacher, that invites you to to dive into the creative experience, individual and collective, through a conscious watchful eye.

In its serenity and balance, the art of Tai Chi Chuan invites you into a space of relaxation and self-awareness, uniting movement and meditation. As your breath becomes deep and calm, your inner sources of natural energy are activated, providing good conditions for health and well-being. A deep and meaningful path, where the visible and the subtle of the human body joyfully meet and dance.
Pedro Rafael, Following his love for sports, he joined the Yang’s Martial Arts Association (YMAA) in 1995, to learn Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan. In the last 15 he has been teaching and is determined to contribute to the growth of the human collective and to a world governed by sincerity and common sense.

Drumming and fire are ancient practices that brings us together as a tribe, in magical ways.
Miguel Anumano is a musician passionate in bringing people together in a circle, with sound and dance
Sunday:

Way of Council is an ancient way and modern practice whose roots are within the natural world, spanning diverse cultures and religions. This practice elicits an experience of true community, recognizing that each voice needs to be heard, that every person has a gift, a story to share, a piece of the whole.
Candida Rato and Barbara Barbedo are long time members of the Council Network and experienced space holders.

Feldenkrais Method® focuses on developing human awareness and potential, discovering through gentle body movements, deep paths of learning, changing and improving the quality of daily life.
Caterina Foa is a certified Feldenkrais Method practitioner working with people’s movement and body awareness for better self-expression, conscious and creative learning, pain relief and psychosomatic improvements. She teaches groups and individual (one-to-one) classes in workshops and educational training for schools, associations and festivals.

Tree Planting – Quinta Ten Chi forest is shedding its initial stage of evergreens to leave space for both mature forest and fruit trees. In this session you will have the opportunity to be really hands on and help the land mature.
Paul Bush is a scientist of life. He is passionate about supporting the land to thrive and will guide us in creating more aliveness and beauty.

Eco Pictorial is an introduction to the enchanted world of Painting with Clay and Pigments. This technique was born from the result of a research carried out on the chromatic possibilities of clay after a month of immersion in Terra Una Ecovillage, Brazil. An opportunity to explore the chromatic possibilities of clay.A gathering to connect with our creative energy in dialogue with natural elements and pigments.A moment to discover the artistic potential of nature.
Micaela Jarast, born in Argentina, studied Visual Arts, specializing in painting and muralism. Worked as an educator and guide in museums, as a illustrator and has murals painted in Buenos Aires, Miami, Tel Aviv, and Lisbon.

1 day (open-pass for all events) = 5 euros
1 day + saturday dinner+ drumming circle= 13 euros
2 days (open-pass for all events, not including dinner or lunch) = 8 euros
1 lunch meal = 5 euros
1 saturday dinner + fire = 8 euros
Weekend pass 2 luches+dinner+sleep at Ten Chi = 30 euros
Notice that with day and weekend passes you can access all workshops, but still need to register to each one to be part of the class, because of Covid-19 restrictions.
Kids = 0 euros for participation, over age 6th full price for meals.
